This project involved a comprehensive transformation of the living area, blending structural restoration with premium flooring installation. We focused on creating a cohesive, high-end finish that respects the home’s original character while delivering modern comfort.
This residential flooring project involved the full preparation and installation of engineered oak flooring across a large open-plan living room in a private property. The room’s original exposed ceiling beams were retained as a key feature the brief was to bring the floor up to a standard that complemented the character of the space without competing with it.
A&S carried out full subfloor preparation prior to installation, ensuring a level, clean base before laying the wide-plank engineered boards in a straight run to maximise the sense of space and light. The result is a warm, natural finish that lets the room’s original beamed ceiling do the talking.
Works also included door trimming throughout to accommodate the new floor height, with all edges and thresholds neatly finished.
